Over the past month I have been visiting the V&A once a week, drawing and researching - I have produced far too much to share up here but know that what I have done will slowly feed into my practice. Not immediately , I want to give it time & let ideas and visual language find me when they need to do.

The hang - Leaves and Shoots at The Craft Centre and Design Gallery - Leeds

1st March - 28th June

'Hedgerows are explored by two printmakers in this wonderful exploration of growth.  Stef Mitchell’s seasonal monoprints work directly with natural materials acting as recordings of walks which viewers can easily relate to.  Lynn Bailey combines several printmaking techniques in her collection including etching, collagraph, drypoint, mono print and photo etching which create an exciting and organic series of works.'

Throughout 2014 I will be documenting the gardens at the Dutch HouseYorkshire where once a month I will be picking plants and printing from them. This will be supported by a 10 day residency in August where I will set up a print studio there - with an accompanying exhibition.
